Backstory – The Timken Company, worldwide leader in bearings and steel, wanted to accelerate growth for two divisions and capitalize on their history of being the first company to supply miniature bearings to the dental market.
Vision – AAI worked with the business leaders of these divisions to determine market research was needed. After conducting the research, and analysis of the results it was found that better positioning, more awareness and clearer communication was needed. Besides implementing in those areas, AAI proposed launching a new business unit for the dental industry. From naming that business and its products and services, positioning, identity, and helping create Timken's first e-commerce website we ran the gamut.
Elements – Product and services branding, identity, strategy and planning, market research, operations analysis for e-commerce website, website development, media analysis, advertising, brochures, PR, media relations, direct mail, catalogs and trade booth design.
Results – Contributing to double- and triple-digit annual and even quarterly sales increases year after year is a nice feeling.
